The Pomodoro Technique
This is a time management method that uses a timer to break work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.
Each interval is known as a pomodoro, from the Italian word for 'tomato'.
- Work for one full session (e.g., 25 mins).
- Take a short break (e.g., 5 mins).
- After four sessions, take a longer break (e.g., 15 mins).
